Morse code

Definition:
It is a method of transmitting text or information as a series of electric pulses, usually represented by short pulse or long pulse.

Description:
It is named by Samuel F. B. Morse, an inventor of telegraph.
Each Morse code symbol represents letter or alphabet in a unique sequence of dots and dashes.
Letter of words are separated by a space equal to three dots.
Words are separated by space equal to seven dots.
Length of each character in Morse varies approximately inversely to its frequency.



Uses:  
It is used by amateur radio operators.
It is used by pilots and navy people.
